13. Resident Evil Requiem
Great game. Does both styles of RE exceptionally well. Though, I think I’m gonna have to be in a very specific mood to replay it. If I want action RE, I’ll play 4/4R, and if I want first-person survival horror, I’ll play 7.

12. Baldur’s Gate 3
Yeah, that was one of the best games I’ve ever played. And that’s with me having 0 knowledge of D&D, which should speak volumes to this game’s quality. Definitely see myself coming back for many more playthroughs down the line!
I hate that RE games count the number of times you’ve saved. I don’t wanna know that shit! I’m well aware I’m a little bitch baby; you don’t need to rub it in!

Underrated video game trope: when the title screen background seamlessly flows into the opening cutscene. I EAT that shit up every time 😩
I immediately vibed with Leon's gameplay, but so far his segments have composed of about 20% of my play-time. Grace just makes me wish I could go back to playing as Leon so far.
If that’s what you’re intended to do here, I dunno, I just find that super unsatisfying. I’ll keep pushing through, but I’m not sure how much I’ll end up liking Grace’s bits gameplay-wise.

Kinda frustrated with Requiem. Even playing on the standard difficulty, enemies are extremely spongey and ammo is the scarcest I've ever seen in these games. I died to a standard enemy I shot in the head like 12 times beforehand. People online are saying to avoid combat entirely in this bit.
11. Dark Souls 3 (replay)
Still my favorite game in the series. Probably in my top 3 FromSoft games? The DLC really enhanced the experience. Sad there are no more Dark Souls games left for me to run through 😔

9. Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel
Pretty mid except for Friede, who might be my favorite Dark Souls boss I have ever fought.

So I have the Fire Fades edition of DS3 on PS5 (with all the DLC on the disc) and I can access the Ringed City but not Ashes of Ariandel? I’ve even purchased that DLC separately and had no luck. Anyone else ever experience this issue?

I think things could have played out differently if it weren’t shown at TGA at all. (or even somewhere in the middle of it) If it organically flopped, whatever, but I just want people to remember that your words do have very real consequences.
Sounds like there were some internal issues here, but the response to this game after its announcement by the public was disgusting.
Was I interested in it? No. But people immediately wrote it off for the crime of closing out the Game Awards.
Haven’t played Nightreign so can’t comment. I LOVE Dragonslayer Armor, but nah. Mechanically, Champ is one of the best bosses in the entire DS series
