all i'm saying is the discussions around censorship falls flat when your arguments revolve around making some form of monetary gain from it.
currency in its own way its one of the most egregious forms of censorship and people dont seem to mind because its so "necessary"
making people pay generally leads to folk acquiring your content by other means, mostly stealing. they have no qualms with stealing your work and want more, so they feed it to AI. They have no problems with AI, so they repost it as their own work.
Is that not how we got here in the first place?

I don't get how making folk pay money to see content is any different from censorship, it's just been normalized by capitalism but is very much the same sort of thing.
