The story was a miss for me (although I got quite invested at the middle twist there) but I reeeeeaaaalllyy liked the first person RE1 parts in the care center! I want waaaaay more of that!

The story makes zero sense, I don’t think the writers themselves care about it either.
I really liked the survival horror parts of RE9 and kinda wish the whole game was just that and not all the other stuff.

Surprise and Discovery are the most important aspects of game design for me, so if a game continues to provide them hour after hour, that’s a well made game imo!
Animal Well is really good so far!! Just getting around to playing it! I really enjoy games that go all-in with exploring the possibility space of their mechanics, it feels like the designer left no stone unturned.
