Im like, maybe on the low end of intermediate at writing lol , but I appreciate the thought.
Im not even mad, just sad and confused.
I feel I did a similar job, gave a similar amount and quality of feedback and was probably a bit less critical of the manuscript.
But thats *my* perception. I'd have rather had a conversation about it than catch a block :(

I just finished a beta read trade with another author who appeared excited about my book.
A couple hours later and I'm blocked. Was my book that bad? Was my feedback too honest? Is this a new kind of scam I'm not aware of?
I can't afford professional betas :/ so maybe I just dont have them?

Ive read a few internet stories that started this way and ended with a diagnosis.
If you can, tell a doctor "it hurts/aches/stings/whatever" and see if they'll do imaging.

She had no recollection. She saw so many worlds, so many slices of the ultramundus, but lost track of her real self. Her follies took over and now she was clueless to a real event. “Yours, Lee” “No, no no no!” she said, looking at the scroll and its cylinder casing over and over looking for a clue.
Time is up for Hayley. What will await her upon her reunion with Lee?

I was just there last week! I've given longer rides for less cash, based out of the twin cities area but im not against an excuse to visit Seattle :) if the van doesnt work out ..
I used yWriter to write, LibreOffice to edit. yWriter has a ton of organizational features, most of which i dont use, but as far as outlining and scene organizing, im very happy with it 😀
