Page 1 of the agenda packet for the Feb. 12 Port Authority Commission. The wrong date (January 11) is specified; the meeting start time is 9 a.m. The web calendar notice specified a starting time of 8 a.m. The inconsistencies in the meeting details may have been the reason for the meeting cancellation.
In classic SLDC fashion, the board packet for the cancelled 2/12 Port meeting was removed from the calendar notice webpage & the board materials webpage. See ALTs.
Gov agencies should not permit meeting docs to be removed.
Remember to download any file of interest ASAP before #opaCITYstl strikes.

IMO, Mr. Westbrooks needs to dismantle the systemic #OpacitySTL at SLDC if the mayor wants true transparency.

Vacant properties make up a good deal of the buildings that need to be knocked down. The recovery office estimates nearly half of the buildings that will need demolitions were vacant before the #STLtornado, which makes them almost all βuniversally ineligibleβ for demolition through FEMA funding.

The reason the public aren't in the room for the SLDC presentation today is that the item was only added to the agenda yesterday morning.
The public finds it hard to participate when minimal notice is provided.
