Making Lunch - Gator Days Characters Liam - Capybara - A quiet and introspective child. Ember's older brother. Ember - Capybara - A LITTLE GIRL WHO LOVES SNACKS AND YELLS EVERYTHING! LIAM'S LITTLE SISTER! Transcript Panel 1 Liam and Ember are having some lunch. Liam has made a peanut butter sandwich for himself. He prefers a simple lunch with minimal texture surprises. Ember is sitting in front of jars of peanut butter and jelly with labels claiming they are "Natural" and "Fruit Flavored". She also has a loaf of bread and is wielding a knife! Don't worry, it's one those thick butter knives for kids that's designed not to pierce or slice. Although it's still probably dangerous in Ember's capable hand. Liam: Do you want me to make you some lunch? Ember: NO! I WANNA DO IT! Panel 2 Liam turns his attention to his sandwich and takes a bite. While controversial, he prefers smooth peanut butter. The texture of crunchy is incredibly unpleasant in his mouth. He holds no ill will towards anyone else who prefers crunchy. Panel 3 Liam suddenly feels something sticky on his arm. He looks and sees that some jelly has mysteriously landed on him. Now would probably be a good time to see how Ember is doing. Panel 4 Oh no. There is peanut butter and jelly everywhere. The butter knife has been stabbed into the loaf of bread. The peanut butter jar has been knocked over. The jelly jar is no where to be seen. There's a slice of jelly covered bread stuck on the wall. Everything is incredibly sticky. Liam does his best to take this in stride. Liam: What did you make? Ember: MISTAKES! If you see the jar jelly, please tell them to come home. We miss them.

August's father. Transcript Panel 1 August's dad, Fergus, has stopped by to drop off a gift and apologize for something that happened in August's childhood. Fergus is not the best as expressing his feelings so he's doing his best to speak carefully and honestly. August has made some coffee. He hands a mug to his dad that says "MUG" while August holds one for himself that says "SON of MUG". August is secretly delighted at the opportunity to use these mugs. Fergus: I didn't mean to get emotional. I'm sorry. Panel 2 Fergus just flat out says what he came to say. Fergus: I remembered that time I burned your toys. You didn't deserve that. Panel 3 Fergus looks away for a moment. He wants to make sure he apologizes without making excuses for himself like his own father used to. Fergus: I should have been a better dad to you and your sisters. I'm sorry that I was so hurtful and angry. Panel 4 Fergus: Being someone's parent is hard. Being someone's kid shouldn't be.

He's holding a toy bear that's dressed up as a cowboy and missing an eye. August: Dad! I didn't know you were stopping by. Fergus: I found something for you at the thrift store. Panel 2 August is delighted. He remembers having a toy bear just like this although it had both its eyes and possibly a different colored shirt. It's a fun find. August: WOW! This looks just like- Fergus: Your toy bear that I had... That I... Fergus (quietly): Ruined... Panel 3 Fergus starts fiddling with his hands. He wants to say the right words and say them correctly. He speaks and stops repeatedly. Fergus: So- Well- I wanted to say- Dang it. Thought I should tell you- Um.... Panel 4 Fergus gets over frustrated with himself and yells. May - Alligator - A grandma who loves being a grandma. August's mother. Transcript Panel 1 Fergus and May are at the thrift store. Fergus is looking at a shelf with toys when he notices something familiar. It's a cowboy bear plush that's only $5 and missing an eye. It's leaning again a ball that's labelled "BALL 2" that's $30. It's the sequel to ball. There's also a puzzle that says "PUZZLE! 10,000 piece!" that's $3. Don't worry, there's not that many pieces. Eight are missing. Fergus: MAY! Look at this. Augie had a toy bear just like this when was little. Panel 2 Fergus holds up the bear to show May. He thoughts are on the childhood of his now adult son, August. They're at the popular thrift store "THRIFT 2 GO" where everything is either way 2 cheap or way 2 expensive. Fergus: He carried it everywhere. You think he still has it? May: Fergus, you don't remember? Panel 3 Fergus isn't sure what she's talking about. Probably not anything too important. Fergus: Remember what? May: Back when your sleep got bad. Panel 4 Fergus suddenly does remember. It's like remembering something from an awful dream. May: You were upset with the kids. You... Uh... Burned some of their things.

Forest Relic 2: Crafting Update - Gator Days Panel 1 Gustopher has found something amazing in the woods. It's a stick! Sticks are cool. He runs to show it to Hannah. Gustopher: HANNAH! Check of this stick! Panel 2 Hannah does agree that the stick is admirable but she is not one to be outdone. She has also found something interesting in the woods. Hannah: Yeah, that's cool. But is it cooler than this rock? She holds up a smooth oval shaped rock. It's one of those ones that would be amazing for skipping but you won't want to do it because it's so good. There's parts that sparkle in the sunlight. Rocks are cool. Gustopher: Let Liam decide! Panel 3 Liam is sitting on a stump and checking out the neat stick and rock that he has been asked to judge. next to him is a little bit of string. Foreshadowing is a literary device. This stick and rock are pretty sweet. Liam: They're both cool. But what if... Panel 4 Liam has read the wiki and knows the ancient art of crafting. He has tied the rock to the top of the stick which has increased the coolness factor and improves the stick's bludgeoning stats while providing +3 INT. Everyone is impressed. Hannah: Whoa! Liam: Magic staff. Gustopher: THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Boy Meets Dog (Part 2/2) - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Hannah has taken Gustopher to Mrs. Woolly's house to meet the dog she walks. Titan, the dog, is standing there with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. He is a good boy. Mrs. Woolly: Titan, Hannah brought a friend to meet you. Gustopher: DOGGY! Panel 2 Gustopher sits down on a couch to hold and pet Titan. Titan appreciates this a lot and is very comfortable. He is a very good boy. Gustopher: HE LIKES ME! HE'S SO COOL! HE'S THE BEST! Panel 3 Titan starts to drift off to sleep in Gustopher's lap. Gustopher continues petting but suddenly gets a sad feeling. Titan starts making sleepy dog sounds. Titan is a very very good boy. Gustopher: He's- I- Panel 4 Gustopher turns to Hannah to express his sorrow in this moment. Gustopher: I'm sad that I'll eventually have to go. Hannah: That happens to me too. Titan is unbothered about his new friend having to leave eventually. Titan appreciates the moment and will enjoy Gustopher's company to the fullest while it lasts. Titan is a very very very good boy.

Collect Them All - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Olivia is watching Hannah play a video game. Hannah is hanging upside down on the couch because she's just that cool. It's how the cool kids play video games. I can't play video games like that, I'm not cool enough and it would hurt my back. Olivia just noticed that Hannah did something terrible. Olivia: YOU MISSED A GEM! Hannah: I did? Panel 2 The game that Hannah is playing is a cartoony platformer with a colorful character. The character looks like he is perpetually uncomfortable. There are collectable gems and Hannah can see one near the top of the screen in the direction she just came from. Hannah: Ah, I see it. Oh well. Panel 3 Hannah does not seem to care that she has missed the gem and is continuing on. Olivia does not understand. Olivia: You're not going back to get it? Hannah: Nah, I won't lose sleep over it. Panel 4 It is now night time and Olivia is in bed and unable to sleep. How could Hannah not go back and collect the gem? Does she not like gems? It was right there? Why didn't she just grab it. What if the gem lead to a secret? What if there's something special that happens when you get all the gems? Olivia will remember this.
