🌱 8A; the garlic isn't ready yet. I put on some gloves and reached in to gauge the bulb size. Softnecks I started at the beginning of November. Hardneck was actually in December.

However, we had a VERY unusually cold winter here so I think it hit the proper vernalization period.

This actually smells pretty good. I need to do a side by side with regular Valaya.

Have you looked into The Bread Bakers Apprentice cookbook? Writer goes into extreme detail on different types of bread and he has a whole section on bagels. I have yet to make them but he makes a really good argument as to the true process in making a NY style bagel.

How could they manage to fudge it THIS BAD?! There are easy workarounds to get the OG games to work on Windows 10 & 11 and yet EA couldn't even properly optimize a rerelease of them?

The reviews for the Sims and Sims 2 legacy edition are brutal (sitting around the 50% range). Which is infuriating because it's not the gameplay itself but how poorly optimized it was when they released these versions.

I think it heavily depends on your area once you're in 8a. I actually have a neighbor across from us who has a citrus tree in their backyard. I'm tempted to ask them about it. 👀
