The creative process is such a wonderful place to get lost in. It's one of the few states of being where I feel sane and grounded and not riddled with crippling doubt and anxiety. It's calming and healing and endlessly rewarding. I don't think I'll ever understand the impulse to replace that with AI

That's more due to a combination of writing a bunch more songs for it towards the end of last year (it's mutated considerably since the version you heard) and also just lack of confidence in the material/motivation to release stuff. Going to break the ice with a few EP's first.

A lot of depression and anxiety is situational, and warranted, because people live in shit circumstances. They’re poor, without resources, etc. and the reason it’s become popular to blame “mental health” is because it’s a way of evading responsibility.
Every gay person you know, they were a child once. At some point in that childhood, they found out what homosexuality was.
You can't stop either of these things happening and I don't know what you hope to achieve by intentionally making these things difficult, confusing and lonely.

A lot of these warmongers live either outside the U.K. or inside the UK in gated communities that you could barely find on Google Maps. Quite a few of them will have stocks in defence companies. So they’re just sitting at home safe and increasingly richer, smugly smiling as human beings burn alive.
Ultimately all this "if you're anti-AI you hate the working class" bullshit boils down to is "working class people are dumb and feckless and need AI to be creative". And if you believe that you're part of the problem.
It should also just be blatantly obvious to anyone with a few brain cells to rub together that a corporate product shoved down your throats by tech bro billionaires intent on disenfranchising the masses is not going to be a positive development for poor people.
We exist in a system that prioritises the children of privilege & actively de-platforms & dismisses us. Flooding the market with soulless AI slop is just another way of further marginalising & devaluing us. The working class experience is vastly under represented in our media & AI won't change that
I have zero formal training and nothing but outdated & cheap equipment & I produced over 50 songs last year. Working class artists aren't struggling due to a lack of ability or creativity (a classist premise to begin with), we're struggling because of lack of industry connections/financial support
