After YEARS of putting it off, I finally made myself a professional website. Not gonna lie, I kinda love having a corner of the internet that's truly my own.
Give it a spin-- would love to hear your feedback!

Peeps who want to follow my work and hear me talk about storytelling: I’ve made a new IG account for just that! Will probably post more regularly there than I do here. Check it out- I just shared a bit about an incredible film festival I attended in 🇨🇿!

Super honored to have won two Gracie awards for the @radiolab.bsky.social episode “How Stockholm Stuck”! And marveling at what excellent company I’m in 😁
Biggest ups to my colleagues Alex Neason, @rebeccalaks.bsky.social, Jeremy Bloom and Alice Edwards, who share the award with me.

Thank you for listening & sharing!! :)
Thank you @sarqari.bsky.social, @lutimestwo.bsky.social and @carlzimmer.com for a great @radiolab.bsky.social episode on one of my obsessions of the last few years: the scientific dogma against airborne transmission.
Aw thank you so much for listening! :)
Meena nails it here. So many of my talented friends and peers have contemplated leaving journalism not because of the nature of the work itself but because of how broken this industry is.
Thank you so much! :)
…namely Soren Wheeler, @latif.bsky.social, Alex Neason, @rebeccalaks.bsky.social, Dylan Keefe, Jeremy Bloom, Harry Fortuna, David Gebel and many others.
…But most of all, why focusing on & blaming victims misses a much bigger story. About perpetrators of violence. And about us, the people watching from the sidelines.
Give it a listen and tell me what you think!
Big ups to the whole team that helped make this with me…5/
Over the course of the episode you can hear me struggle to understand. So I interview folks that have been through abuse of different kinds, who tell me what the media gets wrong about them, why “Stockholm syndrome” doesn’t make sense to victims- and why it sometimes does… 4/
I went on a journey to understand why victims of abuse don’t always act in the ways we expect. And I learned there’s a LOT we don’t get about victimhood— whether that’s in the context of hostage taking, kidnapping, domestic abuse, even cults. 3/
..Because behind “Stockholm syndrome,” a term that gets applied willy nilly to all kinds of victims—there’s a wild & suspect story.
But more than that, it’s a story about what it’s like when something terrible happens to you & you do things the world struggles to understand. 2/
I know there are truly a zillion other things going on. But. I have a new episode of @radiolab.bsky.social out that took many months to make…and I dare say I’m proud of it.
What’s it about? Kinda hard to say. On the surface it’s about “Stockholm Syndrome”… 1/
