So here Eddie is, at a Horror Event, with 5 teenagers and an metaphorical Boner. The only thing keeping it down? The fact that He™️ was, unfortunately, in CarnEVIL, which was Full Of Clowns. god he fucking HATED clowns. Why was he doing this again?
Eddie wanted to see him In Person but had no viable excuse to go. Cue Chris, who really wanted to go with his friends but none of their parents wanted anything to do with a Horror Event. Eddie asked Buck if he wanted to tag along, but only got a mumbled "I'm busy" and a subject change in response.
Then came the Díaz house. Eddie was down BAD for this mystery man. Then he REALIZED he was Down Bad™️ about him and speedran an entire sexuality crisis once he figured out it was because He™️ reminded Eddie of Buck's build. Whoops🤷♂️
He debated on coming clean right then and there, then Chim made a joke about where He™️ could put that chainsaw and decided against it. That was his BROTHER IN LAW! So he watched, in Silence.
It was, unsurprisingly, May who introduced Him to the 118. Everyone huddled around her phone, watching and not so secretly thirsting over this masked maniac. Nobody noticed that Buck was getting shiftier by the second, too enthralled by May telling them the Lore.
During the 2nd weekend, the right people filmed and posted about him, and those videos went VIRAL, especially on BookTok. There was something about an insane 6ft tall masked beefcake wielding a chainsaw that made them go AWOOGA. His once-a-week appearance made him even more desirable to them.
His first 2 years of Chainsaw-ing were pretty uneventful in terms of SM presence, so it was only a matter of time before Something Happened.
Buck knows that Specialties are more likely to go viral on social media, so every year he requests the bottom half of his face to be covered, since his regular job is so public-facing. Combined with the makeup covering his birthmark and tattoos, his identity is hidden to the public.
At my SF haunt, Sliders + Chainsaws aren't allowed to wear anything that can affect their peripheral vision, since they are walking safety hazards. I assume all SF haunts have the same rule, so thats what I'm going with. Masks that cover the jaw/mouth, however, are still Specialty Safe.
Oh, and before I forget, NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT HIS SIDE GIG!!! And heres how:
Buck's been a KSF actor for about 5 years, and a Chainsaw for 3. He puts his August-October requests in as soon as Knotts releases their dates so he can have Saturday + Sundays off for Haunt + recuperation. Bobby's learned to expect these.
First of all, Buck's gonna be a Knotts Scary Farm actor bc its owned by Six Flags and the haunt i work at is SF owned.
