For many people, NED is fleeting and we know it. Scans look backward. So you were taking pills or infusions and worrying and there was nothing there. Now you show up NED and have to decide whether to continue treatment or take a break. Next scan is therefore even more anxiety inducing. Can't win!

Congrats on the good news. My wife started on the scanxiety hamster wheel in July 2014. It is now a way of life for us, but the anticipation and the waiting for results can still do a number on mental health. People who haven't had to live this way simply have no idea.

Not here to argue with you about your lived experience. Vance comes across as a man who has a chip on his shoulder that he will never shake. I believe his insecurities about his upbringing and real/perceived lack of status and respect have a good deal to do with it. He still has that accent. 😊
