the next moment in the sequence. he is ducked down, nearly out of the frame. one hand is to his forehead, the other holding his staff still. he clears his throat.

the silly old man bounces back upright. he is once again grinning, though now he is also blushing, and his forehead is red and bleeding a little bit. he continues what he was saying in panel one, "interest you in a duel?"

The first man looks back at a looming, shadowed figure off to the side, with only it's eyes visible.

The focal point of this page is the shredded remains of two mech frames. The second man, the one only in the reflection in the previous pages, is smiling and saying something, but the paneling makes it look like his neck has been cut and is dripping blood.

The two men converse about something that seems heavy. Only one man's face is visible, and he looks troubled. The other man is facing away from both the viewer and the person he is talking to.

I really want to post this before the clock rolls over, so! A preview of some of my favorite pages in the comic I was working on this month - it's a 24 page comic about my Lancer pilot and his NHP and how they're gay oops.

Took the text out of the pages for the ✨intrigue.✨
