I looked at reductions in official development assistance and funding for global health agencies.
Though much is taken, much abides - there is plenty of important work for these agencies to do, and which needs to be done at the global level.

One of the heartening things about WHO’s investment round is the breadth of political support we have received
These are challenging times in global health...but we'll get by with a little help from our friends.
We have started to make a change: in 2020 we had visibility of 17% of our funding for the next four years; now we can count on 53%. Where funding was mostly earmarked, now more is flexible. And our donor base is more resilient, with 39 new donors making commitments.
Brazil's G20 summit has finished, marking an important moment for WHO.
