These changes are minimal and the least possible changes that the MND could make. They make them more accessible for foreign audiences.
After my recent interview with CNA and consistent criticisms along with those from @benlewisofficial.bsky.social, it looks like Taiwan's MND finally made some minor changes to the ADIZ reports: PDFs include some minor English and are again accessible on the English webpage, after being removed
Taiwan's MND has failed in its task to publicly share information on the PRC military threat. The quality of the ADIZ reports has declined since September 2020. I had hoped with new leadership in the Lai admin, we'd see a better, not worse, change.
2024 has been a terrible year for stability in TWN Strait. Trump's return to the White House brings some new questions for the relationship. Cross-Strait relations aren't what they were during his first term, and the PRC will likely push back more forcefully against stronger US-TWN relations.
