The Bride! is as big a swing as it gets. An absolute fever dream from Maggie Gyllenhaal, there’s always something wild happening. Whether it works for you or not will be a matter of taste, but I got a kick out of its audacity. Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley are reliably good.
