The best I can think of is “representing tailor’s art”. Getting rid of the T without muddying the meaning might be a pain though!
Yeah I did ponder that. But I just don’t know if putting “about” at the front really works because it requires you to read it as “about, tailor’s timeless art”
Are you going for an &lit? I can’t see which bit would be the def for an adjective here. I wonder if you could use “about” as an anagrind (because satorial means “*pertaining to* tailoring”). But I’m not confident that eg “about tailor’s art (-t)” really signals an anagram properly

Really saddened and shocked to hear of Andrew Clements' death. A wonderful critic, matchless on 20 and 21st century music, and a great colleague and friend to whom I owe an immense debt of gratitude for his role in giving me my own break as a critic. It's a huge loss. And he will be greatly missed.
Sad news. Wonderful musician - heard and met him back in the days of BMIC concerts.
RIP Jonathan Powell - a great pianist, highly original composer and Russian music specialist. What a tragic loss. We came up together, and both from the West Midlands. I have a fond memory of a Black Country real ale pub crawl with him in c.1997.
