I find AI vs clinician studies very preliminary but also as furthering the need for > investment in clinician competence and wellbeing. And yet > $$ go to AI. Attending on the inpatient solid oncology service this week really makes me want to remind everyone to schedule their age appropriate cancer screenings immediately. Colonoscopies, mammograms, pap smears and primary care appointments save lives!! #MedSky #OncSky
Dear Joe, thanks so much! I do hope it will be useful. Most of the metrics included were in the literature, but perhaps there is a way to validate its utility. Maybe we should discuss more?

Our Delphi consensus-based approach included 83 thoracic radiation oncologists in at least one survey to create consensus-based OAR dose constraint and target goal templates for lung cancer radiation therapy.

Another good Sunday treating before Thanksgiving. We typically treat on Sunday, so people can have off the Thanksgiving weekend without affecting the effectiveness of treatment #radonc
We already have a #LongCovid hashtag! It's not the ASCO communities, it's the LC community. Hashtags that are needed *usually* emerge somewhere, but can be hard to find. LC is a pretty obvious choice, but a lot of cancer survivorship concepts are not. We can discover, collect, share info.
Agreed. We've used #survonc but it's more professional use and may not capture #patientexperience well enough

I suggest we revisit its utility & maybe revise/change to make it work better. Thoughts?
Yes, that may not be a good thing, though. I think doctors need to take a hard look at how we use social media and see if we need to change our approach. I donβt think itβs working.

Thanks for the question! Part of it is simply that #lc could stand for many things, so the hashtag doesnβt have high fidelity for the topic of interest. Itβs partly the uniqueness that makes it more valuable
It is not intuitive, so slower to adopt use. There may be better ways, we can re-evaluate
So improving medical knowledge, and some pleasant oxytocin release π
