Russian skaters were banned from ISU figure skating events right after the 2022 Winter Olympics. The World Championships were held the next month. The camaraderie and joy in that Women’s event was so obvious. It was wonderful to see it in these Olympics, as well.
She STATED that she wanted 10M to counter the votes in Ont and her base ate it up. I still say the real reason was to cripple Ed & HC so she could privatize them. She’s not stupid. She would have increased staff, schools, hospitals, etc. if she was courting voters.
I think the plan to increase Alberta’s population to 10M was how she planned to cripple public education and healthcare so she could bring in privatization. There was never a plan to increase infrastructure or staff. The bonus was she could then blame “immigration.” Diabolical!
I don’t care what label you put on it, I’m happy with the direction this government is going.

Matt was my MP for years (until the boundaries were redrawn) and my MLA before that. I never saw a hint of grift in him. One of his initiatives was the Compassionate Care Act. He always struck me as a decent human being. I don’t know where you get your opinion.
