I don't like it - but I think the bar has been set so low from Vince-era WWE that it doesn't seem so bad in AEW right now
All the talk of Mox retaining and Darby being the Wildcard and beating Hangman. NO. Just no. The fan reaction to 2024 AEW would have been killing Tony Khan, there's no way he goes back there. He backs the guys that have made AEW hot again for the first time in a long time.
These guys are gonna be so motivated to steal the show here. Billy obviously gets the W but I think his main motivation will be to get Knight over with the AEW audience
I like the early start time (maybe UK bias showing) but I genuinely think it will give the weekend a festival feel, especially with all the additional events going on. I hope there's space for some indies to run some shows around the AEW events
The real reason why they don't mention Vince is because they want to separate themselves publicly but don't have the desire to actually renounce him and what he did in any meaningful way because it would implicate too many people still in the company and the company itself.
Owen Hart Tournament brackets being announced is lowkey the thing I'm most excited about on Dynamite tonight - I think we'll get a good idea about the direction of All In.
I think that can go either way depending on how squeamish someone is
Active wrestlers being inducted is purely to generate discourse and clicks but it goes against the spirit of a Hall of Fame
Putting active wrestlers in a HOF will always suck to me
flippy shit is the fastest way to a non-wrestling fans heart
