It's been in the 90s here lately and I can't WAIT for soup season!
Every time I finish watching something on Netflix, they send me an email titled "<thing I just watched> ending explained". Does Netflix think all their shows are incomprehensible? Or do they just think I'm exceptionally stupid?
If "A Space Adventure Hour" isn't in black & white I'm going to be seriously disappointed.
There's the time I carefully wrote out directions to my friends' new home on a post-it, stuck it to my dashboard, and, when I was halfway there, watched it fly out the window.
The airbnb where I'm currently saying has one of those cobblestone shower floors! It's more comfortable than it looks, and very non-slip. Just the shower, though. Doing the whole bathroom seems like it would invite lots of late-night, bleary-eyed twisted ankles. And I have no idea how to clean it.
It may be the fastest, though.
I can't believe anyone actually used that bathtub. My theory was that he did it when he decided to sell, thinking he could get more for the house by converting a 1/2 bath to a full bath. I'm guessing there was no building permit :-).
My favorite DIY renovation (from a house I saw when househunting but did NOT buy) was a brick bathtub. Not just a brick enclosure; the actual tub, the part you'd fill with water and sit in to bathe, was made of brick & mortar.
So that's how the story ends? The guy takes his rice back in exchange for some well-placed anti-potato propaganda?

My house is still standing! There's some wind damage, air quality is bad outside and maybe worse inside, there's no electricity or drinkable water, and I have the Oak Branch of Damocles in my back yard, but other than that, everything's perfect!

I had an extra bonus cat at Thanksgiving one year -- a gray tabby cat showed up on my porch, and the people who'd gone out for a smoke break thought they must have accidentally let my gray tabby cat out. Bonus cat spent the day going from lap to lap getting pets and bits of turkey.
