Crossing the FPHL off of my leagues to see list
Woof, I can see why MH has that winning streak. And Pickford with the hatty is the icing on that cake.
It feels like we are all waiting for the other shoe to drop. If it is going to happen, it must occur within the next 17 hours. Are the TBirds done making moves?
Goal now credited to Dunn but doesn’t change the impressive quick start.
:12 in and Schmidt is making a great first impression for Seattle.
Well, it was the first one. Huge trade.
Maybe it's just me, but it feels like if there was something to be announced, it would have been announced. Either what people were hearing has yet to be finalized (entirely possible) or nothing is coming (not as likely but more so now than say 48 hours ago).
I, like you, am interested to see what shakes out before Thursday. Or maybe, which would be a wild shock, nothing else does.
Wheels off for Canada there in the last 1/3 of the final period and they fall 6-4. Czechia faces Sweden tomorrow for the Gold while Finland and Canada play for the Bronze.
We obviously don’t know anything inside but it would make sense to acquire an 18yr old NHL prospect in what is a suboptimal season if you know you’re about to trade one of your top players and may not get a roster player in return.
On the plus side, a @seattletbirds.bsky.social player is guaranteed to play for gold tomorrow.
Back-to-back goals for Lane Pederson and we're on an early hat trick watch👀

Obviously, 2025 was a different year for us. Leaving all our followers on X, going to fewer games, having less time to post and write blog articles. We do appreciate all of you and still continue to support the @seattletbirds.bsky.social, even if it’s at a distance. Wishing you all the best in 2026!
Alexander True (Seattle, 2014-2017) signed one-year contract extension with JYP Jyväskylä (Finland, Liiga). 28 GP, 6+12, 18:29 average TOI.
In case you were wondering, that was just the 7th time the @seattletbirds.bsky.social had a scoreless tie at the end of regulation. The previous 6 games all ended in overtime with the TBirds being 2-4 in those games. It was their first scoreless tie to end in a shootout.
