Double negatives are a kink in the neck.
But but but what about a textual stutter?
Or should that be, no yeah?
Yeah no I agree.
I zoomed in quite a bit. Here’s the original map

An 1884 street map of St. Paul, MN with the seven corners intersection highlighted.
You were right. The StP intersection has changed.
An 1884 map shows all seven corners.
3rd and 7th were through streets. Eagle, 4th and Fort stopped/began at the intersection.
I don’t know when 4th and Fort disappeared.
That’s right. Eagle Street was built in 1849 as part of the Rice & Irvine addition. People started started settling in Minneapolis a few years later. I don’t know the details of that intersection. Yet.
Same happened to me
That’s exactly what I thought! Just release a whole bunch more water. Give me a Lodore-cataract run on those days. 😁
What’s your thinking on a runnable Grand? Dead pool = empty river to the LCR. But even so we seem to soon return to seasonal flows, will we see fewer Grand permits/trips?
Epic year and the 7 state pact is up in the air.
But Won’t they keep Powell going with water from flaming gorge? That pool is at 80%, near normal for this time of year.
Mead is low but not as needy as Powell.
Is Flaming Gorge more expendable? Does that generate power? Where does its water go?
See the future in the sci-fi book, Water Knife

Byline and lede of the NYT article By Anna Griffin and Chelsia Rose Marcius Anna Griffin reported from Cornelius, Ore., Chelsia Rose Marcius from Coon Rapids, Minn. Feb. 13, 2026, 5:01 a.m. ET President Trump may be ending the surge of immigration agents in the Twin Cities, but his mass deportation effort has already extended well past large, liberal cities like Minneapolis, to small communities where the national spotlight does not exist but the impact can be at least as acute. In places like Cornelius, Ore., Danbury, Conn., Biddeford, Maine, and Coon Rapids, Minn., where moderation, not partisanship, might predominate, the arrival of Immigration and Customs Enforcement - and the more aggressive tactics ICE officers often use - have been jarring. In small towns, resources may already stretched, and even a single incident can shatter the tranquillity of neighborhoods unaccustomed to turmoil.
Article headline and description in NYT Beyond the Big Cities, ICE Is Rattling Small-Town and Exurban America Far from the national spotlight, towns like Cornelius, Ore., and Coon Rapids, Minn., are dealing with President Trump's expanding mass deportation effort, and the effects can be acute.
Shoutout to Chelsea Rose Marcius who deftly differentiates the Twin Cities, Minneapolis and Coon Rapids in the lede of her NYT article.

Read “They Thought They Were Right” by Milton Mayer
And from personal experience, the ex are always unreconstructed. They will always believe. The grace is in letting them fade away and hide in the corner. Also, see Reconstruction. Somehow they have to be disempowered forever.
Did he almost say Minneapolitans?
What is the preferred name of a Mpls resident?

Gone are the bitter, the biting, and even the chilly. Those are only useful descriptors in the first month of winter
Koerner, Ray and Glover were an early blues band in the Twin Cities.

The Mpls punk band’s name is Cringe and this will be their first album cover
On the ground, I was struck by how people had prepared to take care of each other. I saw one woman with freezing feet and the guy in front of me pulled out a pair of wool socks and hand warmers for her. Others had first aid kits on their backs. Free coffee and food along the way.
I’ve used DDG some. I imagine they’re AI free
This sign—Trump Rapes Kids—should be at every protest. Along with signs demanding release of the Epstein files. He might like pics of protest chaos but that would change.
This sign should be at every protest. Trump would get out of here faster if this was always in the pictures.
Also George Floyd protests. If they can raise it to that level they can invoke martial law
I have yet to see someone pull out the Epstein quote where he notes that trump has no morality
It snows for a reason.
That’s one heck of a shot with the ambient lighting
