Fall Riverβs Emma Archibald has finished in 11th Place in the qualification for the womenβs sprint standing event at the Paralympics this morning.
The top 12 advance to the semifinals; there were 17 competitors. Way to go Emma!

The East Hants RCMP (with officers from other nearby detachment) took on the HERH Tigers boys hockey team in a charity hockey game at the Sportsplex in Lantz. I was the head coach and my strategy worked as the RCMP won 9-6.
The real winner though was the Braeden Bannister Memorial Fund.

I thought the snow might cause a delayed start. I didnβt think from being out and clearing it that it would cancel school. I didnβt think it was that bad. But I guess better to be safe.
All HRCE schools will be delayed in opening by two hours today, Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
This means:
Bused students will be picked up two hours later than their regular time.
Lunch and dismissal will be at regularly scheduled times.
EXCEL programs are canceled for the morning only.
CSAP metro schools have a 2h delay start today
All CCRCE schools in Cumberland County, Pictou County, Colchester County and schools in the municipality of East Hants will be closed today, March 4, 2026, due to weather forecast and road conditions.
Offices and work sites remain open.
