I was looking for something similar on Switch but haven’t found anything yet. The closest progression mechanic I’ve experienced is in Grand Mountain Adventure. Not a flight simulation but the vibe is quite similar.

Underrated game on Wii. I really had fun to 100% complete it (and some missions were made with my daughter... nice memories!)

Woah! Congrats. This series deserves more love (this book will be a purchase for me).

I haven’t played the entire Black Bass series, but from what I’ve experienced, I feel like it peaked with Super Black Bass 3 (which was never released in the US :/ ). After that entry, the series seemed to quickly sink into the depths of the lake, like a lure drifting down into the water.

As a kid, I never understood how it could be fun to play a fishing game. Thirty years later, it is a genre that I learn to appreciate (Legend of the River King, TNN Outdoors Fishing Champ, Fishing Resort, American Bass Challenge, etc).
