Sounds like it should just be some correction components in the upgrade pack. I offered to proof more stuff this go round for Matusz. I upgraded too!
I just saved my game and picked it up yesterday. I like it a lot and worked on the English proof reading (cards and card clarity for classes).
It's super fun. Just needs some balancing as it's pretty tough as is. 2nd edition sounds like it will fix some things.
Happy Birthday, almost birthday twin! Thanks for all the cool historical ladies!
Personal arm rests AND free bottled water? Is this heaven?
I think it gets even darker when the "Good" seems horrible and you can see why people turn to Chaos.
It may or may not have been entirely reworked and released as my own piece of fantasy horror elsewhere.
However, I posit a similar treatment of the Space Marines would do heaps of good for 40K right now. Both settings have settled into black and white grimdark lately.
To be fair, I suppose we don't want the shining knights poster boys of the "Good" faction to have any confounding nuance around them. But I was proud of the idea, my pitch, and my sample piece.
During open submissions for that, I pitched a story from the perspective of a small village in AoS that worships a local deity being accused of Chaos and then hit with a Stormcast incursion. The Stormcasts were the "unstoppable force of nature" brand of horror for me. I was rejected.
Dark Harvest is great!

I imagine what amounts to a lot more high tech technicals stomping around.
๐ฏ For sure. In a galaxy of what really amounts to loosely connected local warlords and blades for hire, traditional uniforms and schemes seem to me to be more the exception than the rule. But writing about and depicting common uniforms gives contemporary readers something to relate to.
Thanks!
A group of BattleMechs painted in classic Word of Blake colors from the lore.
A 'Mech painted red, black, and red, just for fun.
A 'Mech painted tan and blue just for fun.
A 'Mech painted green and yellow, just for fun.
As others have said: go nuts. I've done two schemes based on in universe lore, but I've also done a small squad as my own mercenary crew with uniform colors and a whole bunch as any dang color I felt like at the moment.
If anyone whines, it's a rogue mercenary.

Thank you so much! Glad I did it justice. Was just peeping on the new KS. I love your skeletons.
