Bit more progress on my Shredder comm from TMNT 1987. Scaled it down by 18% so its now the same length as a modern mobile phone. Sits in the hand much better and doesn't feel as bulky. Need to make few adjustments to the screw pegs and then it should be ready to go onto my cults3D shop.

Taking another stab at Pip's charging dock. Now I have decent reference shots I can make a more accurate version of it.
I'll also go and update some bits of Pip itself.
Ok, liking this. Managed to print a transparent screen, single layer thick. Gives a frosted glass effect but can see a picture underneath. I don't have yellow or red filament so printed buttons in black and they can get a quick coat of spray paint.
Plenty of room for future electronics too!
Finally getting around to replacing Choppers dome with the live action version.
Pretty pleased with this so far. Need to create a thing to glue under the buttons to hold in place. And reprint the speaker with supports so it looks better.
It was going to have a working stand but the thing is so unbalanced that it tips sideways. It's now just decoration.
Test print of the Shredder communicator. I think it may be slightly too thick, I can't put my hand fully around it. It's also really awkward to hold, but then thinking about it, it's not designed for a human. It's designed for an Utrom (Krang) to hold with a tentacle.

Blocked out most of the body now, back needs what looks like a battery cover and the kickstand designing. Then I need to make the buttons stay in place, but still allow them to be pressed.
We now have a screen!
Bit more progress! I literally have only an hour an evening to work on things at the moment.
See if changing it to more or less the proper shade of purple helps.
New project before I get back to looking at Pip electronics. Bonus points if you can guess what it is!

Pieces of a 3d printed Chopper foot drive. More or less fully taken apart, with a pile of broken bits that have been ripped off the drive to gain access.
Things... Escalated quickly. This was supposed to be a simple "quick" repair to Chopper. Cue trashing half the drive pieces as the screw heads had torn up and could no longer unscrew.
