We should not be happy. But also understand the US and Korea have different levels of acceptance and where Korea is decades behind on casting actual trans actors without it being a risk. And factoring that they’re a mostly homogeneous country compared to America being a historical melting pot.
Yes, most people outraged here think Korea is in a similar state of acceptance as the US and should have the flexibility to cast a trans actor. But it is currently way behind and overpopulated with elderly homophobes to risk doing so.
The sad reality is they could but cannot do so without double the hate and boycotting on the show (loss in revenue) and trans actor themselves. The environment in Korea is not as heterogenous and a melting pot like the states to get away with casting actual trans actors.
Problem with referring to AI errors as "hallucinations" is that it makes them seem like something abnormal when in fact it's the exact same process it uses to produce every response
