Virgin sweater knitter here, I have the Dartmoor Sweater and step by step sweater saved on ravelry to be my first sweater projects! I’ve heard both are great first timer projects and the silhouettes are similar.
I couldn’t recommend “Teach Yourself Irish” enough. You learn everything from vocabulary to grammar at the same time. Perfect resource for a beginner!
