With deep sadness, we bid farewell to Professor Oliver T. Keppler, Chair of Virology at the Max von Pettenkofer Institute at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He passed away on January 27, 2026 following a serious illness.
🦟 Researchers at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine evaluated new combinations of malaria drugs to overcome rising resistance. The results show that the new drugs are safe, well-tolerated, and as effective as standard therapy.
