The citizen found his way to that page from a facebook link. He wrote me because he thought the endorsement might not be real. He was indeed correct.
(If you or your relative has never clicked on a bad link, congratulations. Let's not judge. My relatives have. And yes I have too.)
Ah jeez. A citizen just called my office saying there is a fake website set up to look like a CBC News story.
The fake story uses my name and image (along with new Telus CEO Victor Dodig) to endorse some sleazy AI investing product.
