Charlie Kirk in 2023: "It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment."

He was wrong. No child, no moviegoer and no conservative commentator should have to die to maintain this perverted notion of the 2nd Amendment.

Tonight we found out our dog can indeed jump into our daughter's half loft bed. She's bouncy.

I started painting cute versions of crypitds on my weird bathroom door tonight. I really hope my kids look back someday and can laugh about how weird their momma was.

Poor baby girl. We picked her up from boarding Saturday evening and by this morning her eye was nearly swollen shut. The vet gave her lots of snuggles and apologies for the eye drops and cone of shame. She's already looking better but I think this picture depicts the misery well.

So, I hate read ACOTAR until the wr got under the mountain and I was strapped in for the series. I think it was once I hit 65% of Quicksilver that I was fully vested. I just polished it off. I have my qualms with it, but all are minor enough that once I got in, I was in.

My beach read for family vacation was #Quicksilver by #CallieHart. I was happy to see a mixture of fae, comforting familiar lore, and some twists I haven't seen played out before. I'm glad to see the next installment releases in Nov. I'm very interested in the religious world building.👑

So, my antidepressants finally kicked in and I'm looking around wondering what all I missed while I was under. I've seen, and now I low key wonder if the depression was a gift.😬🫡

Two posts in a day, wow. I bought a 90's Breadman bread machine at an estate sale a week ago. It was pristine, included the warranty card with DOP. I just fired it up, it's loud but seems to be working. 🤞 I'll have yummy cinnamon rasin bread in a couple hours.

Repairs made on well loved child leggings. These were my eldest daughter's favorite pair and now my youngest can fit into them. Today I reinforced the crotch where things were weak and added hearts to the ripped knees.

One of my spouse and I's fav weekend hobbies is to estate sale hop. We typically keep a running list of things we hope to find or upgrade. One of those things is weird art for the downstairs half bath, today I found a hanging King Henry VIII. I think he fits right in!

A while back I found out a friend of mine's girlfriend is also a bee person. Bee people are the best kind of people and I hope she likes this paper rose I made for her. 🐝

So my kids got sick and I had to take a break from painting tiny things. I'm hoping to get back to it soon.

Misa and I did some work at a local water hole today. We've gotta nail her maintaining focus on me while in public. It was a great location to practice her focus with mild distractions. Today we successfully didn't lunge at ducks or people!

I finished "The Dance of Rotten Sticks" this morning. While I enjoyed the dabble into horror, it left me eager to drop back into the world of romance so I forget the real world once more. Now I'm starting "Promises & Pomegranetes" which I bought simply because the cover was pretty.
