A button pin, text reads "I'll be post-feminist in the post-patriarchy"
On the bulletin board belonging to my 82 year old mother
Tonight I saw the new moon with the old moon in her arms - but my phone wasn't good enough to take a picture so you'll have to take my word for it.
I dropped it at the front counter at 6 pm Tuesday- did they remember to pass it on to you?
I have survived its unsettling surveillance for almost a year, it's your turn now! ๐ฆ๐
Duck/octopus chimera. I can drop it off at Audreys tomorrow for you, if you like.
A purple rubber duck with octopus tentacles.
@premeemohamed.com I would like to offer you a small tentacled creature in celebration of your new book.
Add me please?
I bought a baguette at 1 pm this afternoon and just ate the last piece of it and I have no regrets whatsoever.
Yay! Thanks for sharing, I had not known this.
Ok, that hurts my soul too.
A view down a residential street. Elm trees form a beautiful arch overhead. The leaves are yellow and starting to fall. The sky is a brilliant blue overhead.
A beautiful autumn day in my neighbourhood. The elm trees have started turning yellow and the first leaves are falling.
An unofficial and upside-down yield sign at the exit to a parking lot. The triangle points up when it should point down.
This sign hurts my soul every time I exit the parking lot.
24 hours until my plane lands back in Edmonton. I did not expect to stay 7 weeks in BC instead of 10 days. I can't wait to get home. This has been the longest I have ever been away from my partner and I have missed him so much.
Oh I do! I first discovered your project by way of File 770.
The sandy shoreline of Sechelt Marsh is crowded with ducks and pigeons. One male Mallard duck stands out with intensely green feathers on his head. Cattails grow in the water in the background.
Half a bag of peas gone in 20 seconds.
Nope, female mallard. The boys didn't arrive until the following week, but now they are all hanging out together.
This one is at the wharf in Sechelt, British Columbia. I just found the bump-man-overboard graphic amusing.
A red sign at Sechelt wharf warning boaters to be alert for whales and not hit them.
@funranium.bsky.social, a hazard sign for your collection
After three weeks of randomly following anyone who looks interesting my feed is mostly science, shitposting, and SF. Excellent.
Smokey haze drifts over the water and into the hills above Sechelt harbor.
Smoke on the water. Looking out over Sechelt harbour toward Georgia Strait. Normally can see Vancouver Island, but not today.
Whoops, sorry, I am still figuring this app out. In future should I edit to not include the mention? Don't want to contribute to multiply dinging the @ included in the original post.
@tkingfisher.bsky.social this fun little daily guessing game tumblr recommended to me feels like you would enjoy it - It's 20 questions with animals and each guess gives you the closest scientific classification in common with the right creature.

Me too.
Finally tested completely negative! Can responsibly be around other people again! Now sitting on the patio at Batch 44 drinking a Secret Cove stout.
Beautiful!

Gratitude to @hannah.not-ok.computer !
When she flapped her wings, she flashed a gorgeous band of violet edged with white. I'm not a birder. The helpful info sign at the edge of the marsh suggests this is a blue-winged teal.
Duck
Disappointed duck - no food from me!
