So I did an entry in an upcoming art pack hosted by @pkmnsexsafari.bsky.social . First time taking part in such a thing. Was fun! Here's a little teaser :P

I'd rather celebrate people who made a thing that contains so many good memories for many people than celebrate a franchise. I love Pokemon as a series. The creatures and world are cool. I still avoid spoilers for new stuff to keep the excitement.

Dang, I sometimes get like... I dunno, maybe 10 packs if a set has some of my fav mons and feel iffy about it afterwards and this dude spent basically what's approx 10 months of my irl income in one sitting (I mean not a completely fair comparison due to local currency being much weaker but still)

I'm a year older today. Drew myself something small to celebrate the occasion.

As a kid when I still had faith, I read the part where Jesus went ham on merchants in a temple or something like that. So there were a few times I'd ask "What would Jesus do?" and then answer it with "TABLE FLIP!"

I live on the 10th, top floor. There are a few other buildings like this nearby. I've seen people jump, sometimes by pure accident (Woke up one morning at 7, pulled up blinds to see someone leap). Maybe it's me being jaded but I feel like the cries were because of the wasted time and resources.

Quite literally my motivation to learn english. When I was 5 or so we had Cartoon Network on cable but it was in english. Grandpa took notice and started sending mom money with the explicit instructions to get me english classes. My motivation was to understand the cartoons and it served me well!

I wanted to doodle this for a while now because Fwench Fwy is adorable.

And apparently a better wishmaker than Jirachi!

Went with a very simple coloring this time because I wanted to make it look close-ish to the source material. It's ok-ish.

I feel some jealousy towards that stuff. Didn't have "a gang" as a kid. Lived in the same neighborhood as my bullies and my life was living hell for over 6 years since schools would put kids of similar addresses in the same class so home was my only respite. I'll play any game solo and enjoy it.

I've been pondering looking into eye surgery, but wearing glasses all my life, I wonder if I'd be able to live without them. There's this weird sense of safety with them, not sure how to even explain it. I do take walks with them off sometimes and it feels "off" haha.

This was a heavy read, but it was full of things everyone's gonna face at some point even if in different ways. I feel it also provided some valuable insight into ways of taking on the beast that lurks. Fingers crossed you'll manage to enjoy things with more intensity, but regardless, stay safe.

If the internet is to be believed, a "that one time I got reincarnated as Sonic the Hedgehog" story is an instant winner. Bonus points for a plot twist of the reincarnation not being actually Sonic but something stupid like his glove or one of the rings.

Have a good one regardless. Super agree on 2024 sucking. Got some stabs in the back from people I considered friends, one even I knew half my life. Took a massive toll on my will to draw but I guess I'll have to try and force myself to get motivated in 2025 somehow.

This was an unusually gift-abundant Christmas (My parents and I don't really do gifts since we never know WHAT to get eachother). I got an electric pencil sharpener that I can't use yet because I mixed up AA and AAA batteries, a pc mouse and a pair of slippers!

Honestly I do miss the old style of lights. LED ones are kinda uneven with the brightness. Blues and greens are gonna blind you but reds and oranges will make you wonder if something's wrong because they're not as bright. Old lights were all even brightness level

404 "wonderful art" not found. Try as I might, everything turns out garbage or has that unfinished feel no matter the hours I dump into things. It's a nice thought though.
