We have a 1901 house, with it's intact wood/coal kitchen stove. A hawk flew down the chimney and popped out of the stove. He/she is fine; it flew right into the dinning room window and I was able to grab it behind the curtain and let it free.
I had to replace a starter in our truck. Under was this perfect little mushroom. About the same size of a dime.

Ive have insomnia; done everything, meds, meditation. Hypnosis worked. Not lately, what works? Rain on a tin roof track. Why am I grumpy about it? I live in a place that rains all f'ing time; & a tin roof home! My rain & noise; not good enough. My brain needs that special rain noise.
