Definitely Daft Punk's "Interstella: 5555" from 2003.
This is what oligarchy looks like:
Elon Musk, the wealthiest man alive, spent $290 million to elect Trump.
Since Election Day, Musk became $548 billion richer while his companies (SpaceX & Tesla) paid $0 in federal income taxes last year after making $13.7 billion in profits.
I strongly agree. As an person who reached Eagle 29 years ago, this is a suckerpunch from an organization I spent my youth in. It's disgraceful capitulation to a bigoted bully regime.
Excel Saga, story and art by Rikdo Koshi. A picture of the characters.
Excel Saga! It is a cool anime of many different genres. Very hyperactive humor.
I liked the Watchmen movie. And I liked the HBO show.
Love Tim Blake Nelson in it.
Bad Bunny's message of unity in the Americas was great, and he covered some other important topics with his Halftime musical selection.
But I kept expecting the people dressed up as grass to start dancing. When they didn't I was a little disappointed.
PP&Z is one of my favorite zombie movies, up there with FIDO and The Girl With All The Gifts.
This superhero film is very silly. But it's one of my favs.

Here's a morbid subject: how long can humanity survive, once this global race to Artificial Super Intelligence yields results?
This video is about a scenario presented in a recent book: "If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies: Why Superhuman AI Would Kill Us All."

Buckaroo Banzai is quite funny and I esp like John Lithgow's acting in it. It was a box office flop that I never heard of until I got it on dvd.
The final fight of this Jackie Chan Drunken Master movie has always been a favorite.

Somehow I still haven't watched Pixar's Wall-e or Up, but I want to see them both eventually.
I first heard this song on the car radio tuned to NPR about 2 decades ago. It was my first intro to Michael Franti.
I liked it enough that I bought this album from a local place called CD World. Now I find his newer albums on youtube & I like his new sound, as well.

My brother just released a new song!
"Grimestep" has intense electro dirge vibes. The beat goes hard, the song is slow and steady, and it makes me want to move with the flow.

I've always had a fondness for this one.

With violence & disinformation on the rise in the US, rumors like this just feel like disgusting projection by organized bigots.
Looks like a pathetically blatant attempt to smear a singer who spoke out in favor of a Democratic candidate.
I'm glad it's being exposed.
"Wenn ist das NunstΓΌck git und Slotermeyer? Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!"
Joke Warfare, and this joke with it, has since been banned.
And Now For Something Completely Different
#MontyPython
They are looking for the bear necessities of life.
The cover of the game BLUR for X360, a combat racing game.
I could see myself instantly buying BLUR if it were remastered from the X360 onto Steam. Especially if they added more cars and tracks.
Road Redemption is a fine roguelite motorcycle combat racer with some great features.
But imo the physics engine isn't as fun as what Road Rash 64 offers.
On another note, I was looking forward to Kingmakers by the same developer but it has been delayed...
The hardest I ever laughed at a movie was: Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. I saw it first in the theater as a teenager.
The rolling down the hill scene got me started laughing.
The fight scenes & Steve Oedekerk voice-acting almost every character himself just slays. Weeoo-weeoo!
That movie is comedy gold.
Can we agree to say NO to multibillionaires?
They hoard. They stockpile. They profit. Endlessly.
And the Ketamine Nazi wants to be the first trillionaire?
Tax the surplus & give it back to the public!
Fund SNAP & affordable housing! Counter wage theft!
Humanity can be sustainable.
Tax the Rich!
The dotard has called for 6 Democrats to be put to death for urging our troops to uphold the US Constitution & follow the law instead of illegal orders.
He calls it sedition.
Reality check on isle 47.
That's not sedition.
Sedition isn't punishable by death.
Ignorant & hateful people use "Woke" & "DEI" as slurs.
Don't let their bigotry or lack of empathy rob you of your ability to be kind & aware.
We all see Ice in the streets, violently kidnapping people in broad daylight w/o due process.
Racial & sexual prejudice is real. Social injustice is real.

Interstella 5555
The soundtrack consists of the Daft Punk's 2nd studio album, called "Discovery." The movie is about an alien pop band from another universe that gets kidnapped to and rescued from Earth.
