Farage 2015 : "We don't need to take foreign policy advice from the American President."
Oh yes. It's nearly as much paperwork as applying for indefinite leave to remain.
No, but I imagine I will have to chase it. I refused to answer what I regard as an unnecessary question regarding my gender which didn't even appear on my vetting form !
Just filled in a fee claim form for examining a PhD, UK university. I reckon it pays Β£4 and hour. I'd have made more on a paper round.
Can you imagine the response from a UK university VC if you were known to have rebuffed a contact from a potential donor? See if your moral compass saves you then !
Maybe Starmer is channelling Churchill more than Trump knows. This quote is often attributed to Churchill: βYou have enemies? Good. It means that youβve stood up for something, sometime in your life.β See how long he lasts.
Genuinely incredible that the U.S. will celebrate the 250th without an Archivist of the United States.
Why is it vital for the Labour Party to pander to βlegitimate grievancesβ about refugees, when the legitimate grievances of the actual majority of the population against privatised water and power services can be cheerfully ignored?
This in a nutshell! Starmer is dangerously wrong here!
Last year I went to the outpatients dept at Addenbrooks Hospital for an appointment - as I sat there what was so striking was the patients sitting, waiting were all white & over 60 & all the hospital staff were black, brown, etc and under 40

You could take the engine out of this car, drop it off the Golden Gate Bridge, fish it out of the water a thousand years later, put it in the trunk of the car, fill the gas tank up with Nutella, turn the key, and this puppy would fucking start right up. This car will outlive you, it will outlive your children. Things this car is old enough to do: Vote: yes
Consent to sex: yes Rent a car: it IS a car This car's got history. It's seen some shit. People have done straight things in this car. People have done gay things in this car. It's not going to judge you like a fucking Volkswagen would. Interesting facts: This car's exterior color is gray, but it's interior color is grey. In the owner's manual, oil is listed as "optional." When this car was unveiled at the 1998 Detroit Auto Show, it caused all 2,000 attendees to spontaneously yawn. The resulting abrupt change in air pressure inside the building caused a partial collapse of the roof. Four people died. The event is chronicled in the documentary "Bored to Death: The Story of the 1999 Toyota Corolla You wanna know more? Great, I had my car fill out a Facebook survey. Favorite food: spaghetti Favorite tv show: Alf Favorite band: tie between Bush and the Gin Blossoms This car is as practical as a Roth IRA. It's as middle-of-the-
When I ran the CarFax for this car, I got back a single piece of paper that said, "It's a Corolla, It's fine." Let's face the facts, this car isn't going to win any beauty contests, but neither are you. Stop lying to yourself and stop lying to your wife. This isn't the car you want, it's the car you deserve: The fucking 1999 Toyota Corolla. Google map of cars location
Never forget: 8 years ago a random person on Craigslist wrote the most effective ad for the Toyota Corolla, ever.
Enjoy the day. And you have saved me the trouble of looking up the translation to send a greeting to my Welsh relatives !
A good society is where people have plenty of legal rights but never even have to think of going to law to enforce them.
A bad society is where legal rights are fragile or contested or violated and the courts are overloaded with cases.
A terrible society is where rights are not legally protected.

Text reads: Why education? Educationβs investment appeal stems from its fundamental role as economic infrastructure. The global education market is projected to expand from $6tn in 2022 to $8tn by 20303, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.7%, a trajectory that reflects sustained market expansion despite economic uncertainties.
How the private equity industry views education is really alien to how educators see it. Yet these investors probably have a bigger say in how the future of education will unfold.
First, education is a *market* worth $trillions *in the future* making it a good speculative bet for investment...

Important insight. ALSO, I have no patience (and I mean ZERO) with people who say "they won't ban birth control." They will eventually try BECAUSE WHAT THEY WANT IS TO CONTROL YOUR BODILY AUTONOMY. We need to be proactive about BODILY AUTONOMY IN GENERAL.
