A screenshot of a free verse poem that Kit wrote. It reads as follows. They say that time is supposed to heal all wounds but what happens when your body can't forget. Crying, shaking, numbness, breaking! but shhh! silence is the way you have to cope when nobody believes you or understands you or believes you or just listens to you without judgement. Physically here but mentally gone. Sleep paralysis and nightmares plaguing the mind and holding your hands in handcuffs making you a prison of your experience until the day that you can finally seek the help that you need but cannot afford to reach for because of those that tell you to "just get over it". If it was that simple I'd be flying free from the memories of the life that I dreamed I would have had before it all came crashing down and shattering as easily as glass. Glass as clear as the prism that created my rainbow flag that your sudden disappearance from my life brought to the surface. You left before I could tell you. And it's not okay that you're gone and I'm still here! But I am working on myself and will probably miss you forever. But healing these wounds will take more than just time. But in the end I'll be fine.

After my head has cleared somewhat from waking up shaking and crying with sleep paralysis in the middle of the night, then eventually falling back asleep and waking up to my alarm, I've written a new poem about my PTSD. I used to write a lot more free verse and slam poetry but it's been a while.

Haven't gotten out of bed yet or even put on my glasses but I feel pretty good and fat on this #TummyTuesday. Now who wants to rub it, bring me more food, and/or cuddle? I'm also about to weigh myself for the first time since a few days before Christmas so here's hoping.

5: Nani in Lilo and Stitch (ONLY the animated movies, not the live-action). She's such a dynamic character throughout the movies, I just wish she would give David more of a chance!

4: Kit Snicket, also from A Series of Unfortunate Events, but especially in the Netflix series. One of the inspirations for my chosen name being Kit.

So I'm finally getting around to this:

1, 2, and 3: the Baudelaire orphans from A Series of Unfortunate Events. Both in the books and in the Netflix series that I wish would be released as physical media so I could own it.

I got a $50 Amazon gift card for Christmas and I have no idea what to get with it. I know it's not like it's going to expire, but I can't think of anything I want to get that wouldn't raise eyebrows at home or be a pain to take with me when I move across the country (hopefully later this year)
