So...now it's OK for individuals at the VA to refuse to treat—or hire—unmarried women. Sadly, I remember this hiring discrimination from the 1970s. Unmarried women were considered "a distraction" for male bosses; and married women couldn't be hired because they'd "just get pregnant."
