C: My answer that infuriates people with this is that yes, but it's more like that if I don't think my work is right for that band then I don't want to. I want to help represent the sound, so there are definitely bands and people that I would work with, but also a lot of the stuff that I listen to is not that heavy. It's one of those things where I feel like working alongside a lot of heavy music compliments the subject matter that I'm interested in. So without copping out, I love USA Nails, but I don't think I'm the right aesthetic for them. (laughs) Probably not! C: Right! So I would basically chew off my left arm to do a shirt for Low, or Emma Ruth Rundle, or The Mountain Goats, or Neko Case. But is that the right fit? Probably not. I'm lucky because I've gotten to work with some really cool bands. Godflesh would be cool, but they also have a very specific aesthetic. Or Neurosis would be really cool, but they also have their own sort of specific vibe.” #emmaruthrundle
