"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults—Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe—living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.
That is amazing! Surprisingly the performance that stand out for me is Lesley Gore! She’s superb. The low point is when Little Children sounds even creepier live.
Boxing legend, Sir Henry Cooper, gave me a lift over a wooden fence. I was in my thirties at the time. He was 72!
A genuinely brilliant album.
‘Did you find a suitable image for the story on what Keir Starmer said about the Iran conflict?’
‘Yes - how about Chris Mason realising he’s just accidentally sent his search history to his mum?’
‘Perfect.’
What I will never understand is....Twitter was *never* a good gauge of public opinion! I genuinely cannot understand the people who have clearly been using it as a measure of something other than 'internal leadership contests' (where it was genuinely useful' or 'ways to discover cool links'.
Am sticking with my bet that the right is reading this wrong and that the majority of voters are not at all unhappy Starmer has upset Trump by holding back from a war whose purpose and end game no-one seems able to define.
The scale of this deployment, given a British base has actually been attacked, is really a rather damning indictment of the state of the readiness of our armed forces in general.

You can dispute the accuracy of the poll while still disagreeing with the sentiment of the statement. Or you can throw a massive huff like he does here.
Great work. That’s a face with the great warmth and character that Curt Swan was once so brilliant at conveying. You don’t see it so much anymore.
The Adventures of Superman episode "A Shot in the Dark," 1962. Walking closely, perhaps arm-in-arm, Lois Lane and Clark Kent pass a store boldly labelled "DICK'S MEAT MARKET." Transfixed or embarrassed by the sign, they don't or can't look at each other.

More than half of Reform UK members believe non-white British citizens born abroad should be deported or encouraged to leave @survation.bsky.social
One in five also believed non-white citizens *whose parents were born in UK* should be forcibly removed/ encouraged to leave....
March forth and prosper.
bloody HELL
It’s grimly fascinating to see how, as readership numbers plummet, many of the UK’s papers become more disconnected from the opinion of the public. It’s like watching old warships taking in water & drifting off in a tide of sweeping assumptions. Caught in the occasional breeze of dogma and denial.
Sad to hear of the passing of Gary Leeds (Walker). Now all 3 Walker Brothers are gone. RIP.

I am begging the BBC website to stop beginning so many many headlines with the words “Trump says…”
Also in general quite striking just how far apart SW1 and public opinion are. This is a war that 28 per cent of people 'support'!
The easiest analytical assumption to make whenever Trump does something is that he hasn't thought it through at all. And yet everytime commentators contort themselves into believing there's some kind of strategy.

It’s astonishing that America just hasn’t died of shame.
How many more refugees are being created tonight? And then we can castigate them for having lost their homes and seeking new ones in places they never wanted to be.
"any chance you can have one of the most unpopular Presidents in history take a pop at me?"
"can it wait until after The One Show?"
"I'd rather it didn't"
"as you wish my ever-demanding master"
What an absolute shitshow.
Waves at everything…
I get the strong sense that the bulk of media are calling Starmer's position on Iran entirely wrongly right now. I simply don't believe that most people out there are either as hawkish as the Tories or as anti-everything as the Greens. Being conflicted in the middle seems about right to me.
