Never seen this before, but it's very cool
Never seen this before, but it's very cool
Thank you!
Thanks! I picked up your big font pack months ago and have been anxiously awaiting an opportunity to use them!
Photo of the back of the cassette tape for the album Tartarus, by Ed Herbers. The tape shows the titles of all the album's tracks, written in green Holotype font from somepx.com
Also, perhaps a tad difficult to read at this resolution, but the tape features the Holotype font from @somepx.com for the tracklisting. I know they're marketed as fonts for video games, but they can work for music inspired by video games too, right??
Photo of several cassette copies of Tartarus, by Ed Herbers. Album cover features a pixelated/CRT style image of a shadowy alien figure with long arms and a skull-like face staring at the viewer.
My dark ambient sci-fi album Tartarus is available via @errorpronerecords.bsky.social as a limited edition cassette! Today is #bandcampfriday, so there's no better time than now to pick up a copy!

Oh damn, don't pass this up, people!! Information Chase was a formative album for me!
At first, I thought this pic was taken while the vet was working with him and I was like "wow, I've never seen a vet dress so casually. And they're letting him snuggle too!"
Honestly, it took an embarrassing amount of time to realize this is not, in fact, a photo of the doctor.
Go to this!!
I am so excited that my album Tartarus is coming to life as a physical cassette release via Error Prone Records. Available for pre-order now (or wait to grab it on Friday for #bandcampfriday). Either way, these aren't going to last, so don't wait to pick one up!
Thanks! It started out as a shower thought, amused by the irony that people can seek to profit from selling Bibles, which turned into an earnest curiosity around how copyright works there.
"Uh, says here you gotta contact 'King James'"
Does one have to get a license to publish & sell copies of the Bible? If so, who "owns" the rights? Please enlighten me on how copyrights work on holy texts; I am curious!
Big thanks to everyone who came to the Season Cycle: Winter Listening Party today!
Thanks for coming to the party! It's always nice to get to share the experience of listening to music with other people!
Come spend 30 minutes with me today to listen to some wintry music together!
I know we're all sick & tired of winter, but I'm having a listening party tomorrow (Thursday Feb 26) for Season Cycle: Winter, the 1st installment of my year-long series of EPs for each season. It's 25 minutes long--the perfect intermission for your day!

Snowed in AGAIN? I know *I'm* ready for spring, but since winter seems to be sticking around, might as well make the most of it. Let Season Cycle: Winter be the soundtrack to get you through the snow & cold!

[djkhaled_anotherone.gif] Moving onto the next installment. More mellow piano jazz trio renditions of music from #TheLegendofZelda franchise.

Photo of a Sound Burger turntable playing a copy of the album "Zelda & Jazz II" by the Deku Trio. There are two LPs, both a transparent blue in color. The album cover features an image of several characters from the Legend of Zelda franchise playing piano, drums, and bass in front of the Deku Tree, and giant pink-leaved tree with a solemn face
#NowPlaying: Zelda & Jazz II by the Deku Trio.
Even if you're not a fan of #TheLegendofZelda or aren't familiar with its music, this is a solid album of mellow trio jazz arrangements. The #vinyl is really nice!

Damn, this is gold
Hey, thanks for picking up a copy! Sounds like it'll be the perfect soundtrack for your big snow day (or week).
But spring is coming soon...can't wait for that!
Thanks for sharing! So glad you liked it!
still unclear to me how the species made it this far
Those bills aren't gonna pay themselves!
See you there!
Thanks! It's probably the "warmest" track on the EP, a nice transition into spring (and I tell you what, I am ready for warmer weather)!
Happy #WinterWednesday! This week's tune is "Full Moon's Light on Fallen Snow." It's a quiet and cozy piece, blending somber nylon guitar, soft pads, and a subtle wintry soundscape.
Spring is coming soon, though! Only a few more weeks of winter!
