Wonder if for this species it could be useful for spreading the basidospores or if it is just a remnant from when it still had a complete life cycle and alternative host.

T. albidum?

If first found this rust on this location in 2018. Interesting to find it on almost the same location 7 years later. The host is quite frequent in the surrounding area due to the wast from the former zinc mine, but I saw only a few infected plants.

The rust Puccinia thlaspeos on Noccaea caerulescens. The rust infection changes the morphology of the plant; instead of flowering stems its stems are full of yellowish leaves covered with telea on the underside. Here on soil heavily contaminated with heavy metals in Kelmis, Belgium.

Do they suggest a valid name for G. coarctata? I still have some growing in my garden (not recommended, it is quite weedy).

Its a few months now since I collected this Fusarium. Do you think it can still be cultured from dried material? Otherwise I can always try to find it again next year at the same location.

Epicoccum andropogonis, a fungus parasitising Claviceps, a fungal parasite of grasses. Here on Glyceria maxima (Liesgras). One of two Claviceps parasites I found this day in September this year on the same plant. I really like the brainlike structure (and its old name Cerebella). #Fungifriends

Ragnhildiana ferruginea ( www.mycobank.org/page/Name%20... ) on Artemisia vulgaris (Bijvoet). Common, but underrecorded in the Netherlands. Forms brown fuzzy spots on the underside of the leaves. Conidiospores light brown and mostly 1-3 septate.
