Hundreds of EPA scientists in RTP told to reapply for jobs after Trump changes During a meeting Friday, EPA leaders encouraged more than 1,500 within its Office of Research and Development to apply for several hundred agency positions.

The EPA is reorganizing its science research office in a move expected to impact, and likely eliminate, several hundred jobs at the agency’s Research Triangle Park campus.

On Friday, scientists were encouraged to reapply for positions in other agency offices.
