I got my vet to prescribe gabapentin to give an hour or two before visits, but it was hard to get my boy cat to take it because even mixed with tuna or churu he would sniff it out and reject it. My girl cat would eat anything laced with anything, though, so it depends on the cat!

2026 has been a rancid latrine fire both globally and personally so far (the 19yo is back in crisis mode, don't ask) but when I ordered French onion soup takeout from the local diner they threw in two massive donuts the size of my head as a bonus so I guess I'll live another day

I am so happy for everyone who is joyfully splashing in the seas of heated rivalry fandom and am not at all feeling like Carol Sturka watching the hive glumly from my own fandom's small and rapidly draining puddle. Not at all!
