This was a great read! When I moved to St. Paul from Tuscaloosa there was a huge campaign to stop them from building a “massive” 5,000 person arena (there were lawn signs!) & I found it so quaint
For my St Paul people! I remain skeptical as a whole but that does not deny the fact that the new arena is absolutely incredible & should be the gold standard for any small liberal arts college

I think I miss Geocities fan websites more than I miss LiveJournal. And the "drama" of Gwen + Tony's breakup had me and my friends as invested as if they were in our group, so @brianoliu.bsky.social's essay was a wonderful reminder of things that used to matter to me but have been totally forgotten.
