I don't care if you're a coach, another player, or a ref. This is an unacceptable violent act. I've had this done to me. It's about exerting control and dominance. Having it done to you by someone who is already in a position of power is an overt statement meant to demean and belittle. Disgusting.

Studies show that private housing for students leads to rapid rent and housing stock inflation and problems with their rights being respected, as well as upward pressure on family housing. On-campus public housing and purpose-built rentals help a lot more.
Someone from Central Island cancer centre told me trades learning from it will help BC & result in more specialized biz/projects here because of the skills to build 3’ walls & radiation shields. UVic biomed eng building likely involves specialized knowledge — i worked for firm & did thesis on it.
Big problem in sfh market is that so many houses get turned into this sort of situation, reducing family housing and cranking up rents. I went to SFU and this format has been there for 30+ years but now you are getting dedicated bathrooms and bigger rooms.
5 beds, 5 baths, well separated.Investor comes along and rents out each room. Students turn over every 4-8 months or maybe longer. Not subject to RTA. High turnover allows LL to crank up rent each time. Students often aren’t savvy & get exploited. Describing it as family housing reduces scrutiny.
I think that’s meant for student rentals, tbh.

I complained to City of Vancouver about shovelling many times but, unless it was a government building, no one would do anything because you got 3 notices before they fined and it usually melted by then, as I recall.
