You know what's awesome? Vids. Which is why I had the best time watching almost all of the 128 Festivids from this year. While I was watching I made a quick doc of my favorites, which I've now posted as 35 vid recs on Dreamwidth. If you also like vids you'll love these. So many fandoms! Such skills!

Oh I definitely had a scarf and my hood up BUT it was my spring jacket and not my winter one!

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

We're halfway through and it's been a delight!

Late afternoon light cast on a table with various embroidery things, including a half finished hoop, a metal pen case with bobbins of floss, and a hand embroidered tote bag.

First day of spring! I dragged a couple of chairs up from the basement, cleaned the table, and sat outside (in a jacket) and embroidered for the first time since September. Absolutely wonderful. Snow is pretty, but fellow freezing latitude folks will understand my delight I think.

One thing I really like about #KFdrama is that they don't drag out the whole "who is the masked woman". No, our boy Park Su Ho has eyes! He doesn't fumble his perception checks! Cho Yeo Hwa doesn't clock him knowing because she's in denial about a lot of things, which is funny instead of annoying.

I'm enjoying it so much! I'm really glad it was there for you when you needed something like it. I'm definitely in a mood where I can't handle anything too dark or intense, so this is a great watch.
