Our two new papers in Environment International show the power of high-resolution HBM in identifying health impacts from environmental exposures.
By engaging experts early, we’re ensuring Ireland’s approach to chemical safety is both scientifically robust & policy-relevant. 🔬🌍

Our beloved Sky crossed the rainbow bridge today after an eight month battle with lymphoma. He was 16 and still a fighter to the end. He gave us more love than any human could, pure and unconditional. We’re absolutely devastated. Look after your fur babies peeps 😭 #CatsofBluesky

So proud of Dr Carolyn Ingram as she was conferred today. She was a dream to work with first as my research assistant then as my PhD student. I had the greatest privilege of being her supervisor and mentor. Her research brought me to tears many times it was so excellent! @ucddublin.bsky.social

Sky is still with us. He’s small now as he battles cancer but he’s happy and doing well. At nearly sixteen he’s still a fighter! He was meant to cross the rainbow bridge six months ago but the force is still very strong with this one!
Lectures are over for 2025! The next three weeks, my diary is literally endless meetings for practically every day?!?! Is that what we do now? Just push all the meetings and seminars into December? 🤷🏼♂️ 😖 😵💫 oh well grading in early January then!

It’s a rough day for a wild swim at Curracloe but we still got in and had great fun! Much needed time with family and nature at a time when I am reflecting on my future and what path to take in my career. Maybe it’s restlessness or maybe I just need to move on. Either way I’ll figure my path 🤔😌
