WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.

Sadly this is all true. I have often wondered how we got here. I always said that in the end, reason would prevail, but I was clearly 100% wrong. What bothers me most are the people who just recently have found that one thing that put them over the edge. The multitude of crazy before was acceptable.

But why did so many believe his lies?
He screwed the men who worked on his hotel/casino in NJ. He decided how much $ to pay them, the hell with their contract. They had to sue him to try to recoup their costs. That's djt, an amoral, soulless void.

We should reckon with the idea that Americans are so fucking dumb that we booted out the party that saved the country after Covid and created the best economic recovery in the world in favor of a con man who said he would use racism and magic to make everything cheaper and jobs plentiful.
