As for my Mom: I have been preparing self for this for a long time. But she has been the Energizer Bunny in our family. Despite that very bad heart, she always rallied. I am grateful she is not scared anymore.

According to people I am healing extraordinarily well. Climbing up/down stairs - dancing = moving from side to side, not a lot of twists, turns or jumps. I'll get there. At the end of a busy day of waking (yesterday/today to/from ship) knees are pretty beat up. The other one is next year.

I am...not. Had a total knee replacement. Missed Christmas and New Year's because of it and then my mother died on 01/06. Now on a cruise and struggling a bit. Having fun because it is a JamCruise music trip with 10+ bands and people are absolutely joyful so it has helped.

Thank you! I will have to remember to put in #minterland to get to people and catch up.

I would agree with you. When I go to an ethnic restaurant for ethnic food (Latino, Italian, Mediterranean), I choose a restaurant versus Taco Bell, can of spaghettios, etc. I want the REAL thing, not a machine manufactured, industrialized, and regulated for sameness product. That is why I go.
